Patek Philippe Ladies Nautilus Diamonds

The Nautilus may have begun life as a boldly modern sports watch, but it didn’t take Patek Philippe long to realize that Gérald Genta’s design worked just as well at a smaller scale. The ladies’ Ref. 4700 arrived in the early years of the collection, translating the Nautilus’ distinctive porthole-shaped case and integrated bracelet into a compact, jewelry-like watch that retained all of the original’s 1970s character.

Dating to the 1990s, this Ref. 4700/61 is an especially appealing two-tone execution, with a stainless steel case accented by an 18K yellow gold bezel and matching gold details throughout the integrated bracelet. Measuring approximately 26mm across, it features a champagne dial set with diamond hour markers, simple gold hands, and a discreet date aperture at 3 o’clock. The diamonds add just enough sparkle without distracting from the unmistakable Nautilus porthole architecture.

Inside is Patek Philippe’s quartz Calibre E19C, a seven-jewel movement that reflects an era when quartz was hardly considered an afterthought at the great Swiss maisons. The watch is completed by its integrated 18K yellow gold and stainless steel bracelet with a signed Patek Philippe folding clasp.

The Ref. 4700 is a very different proposition from the oversized sports watches that would follow decades later. Compact, slim, two-tone, diamond-set, and unmistakably Genta, it sits somewhere between sports watch and jewelry piece. And at this size, there’s something particularly charming about having one of watchmaking’s most recognizable designs distilled down to its essentials. We generally ship our products via FedEx, fully insured, within 5 business days of purchase. An adult signature is required for receipt of all packages for insurance purposes. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. We are also happy to hand deliver your purchase in Manhattan or you may pick it up at our showroom.

Returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. A restocking fee may apply. Watches must be returned in the same condition as initially shipped.
