Handmade Exotic Leather Straps
Certain watches — precious-metal perpetual calendars, priceless vintage tool watches, and everything in between — call for a strap of unrivaled quality, attention to detail, and origin. When a simple calf leather strap won't do, we turn to a mainstay of haute horlogerie: exotic leathers. Lizard, stingray, and alligator flank each bring a distinct texture and character that set them apart from typical bovine leather, and more than justify the price of admission.
Proudly handmade in Europe, our Premium Exotic Leather Watch Straps are available in genuine lizard with small, round scales and a glossy finish; genuine sanded stingray leather; and genuine alligator flank with small, rounded matte scales — each offered in black or brown.
Every strap is available in 16mm, 17mm, or 18mm lug widths and measures 75mm on the buckle side and 115mm on the longer side. Thickness is just 1.8mm for lizard and alligator, and 2.0mm for stingray, with a stitchless, clean-edge finish for a premium look and feel.
Construction goes beyond the exotic hide: each strap features Velodon reinforcement, a premium fibrous-weave material used in luxury leather goods to prevent stretch, and a Zermatt Calfskin lining by Tanneries Haas — a hypoallergenic liner that resists moisture, sweat, and skin oils to prolong the life of the strap. Each is fitted with a handsome stainless steel or gold-tone pin buckle.
As handmade goods crafted from natural materials, slight variations in color and texture are normal from strap to strap, and yours may differ slightly from what's pictured. With wear, each strap will develop its own characteristics and patina — just like your timepieces.
