Why We Love it
–There are few brands that know how to execute simple perfection better than Patek Philippe.
This piece, a Reference 4114/1G, dates back to the 1970s and features a round 25mm 18K white gold case with a satin brushed bezel, an acrylic crystal, a signed crown and a fantastic matching white gold integrated bracelet with a signed hook and lock clasp.
The silvered dial bears a hand-engraved ‘Calatrava Cross’ pattern complemented by applied blackened markers with polished surrounds and a matching stick handset. The patterning is quite subtle, but a closer look shows the depth and dial-making mastery that the maison is renowned for.
Powered by the manually-wound Patek Philippe Calibre 175, an ultra-thin work of art from the maison, it measures only 6mm in thickness offering a svelte wearing experience quite unlike many heftier pieces from the era and perfectly epitomizes what Patek is most known for — understand elegance.
This is an ultra awesome piece that’s sure to take your breath away the moment you put it on.
*Due to the design of this bracelet, sizing alterations may require custom work. Lead time after measurements are established is 4-6 weeks.*
