Few watches have reshaped the modern luxury sports watch landscape quite like the Patek Philippe Aquanaut.

Introduced in 1997, the Aquanaut was born from the success of the Nautilus, yet it was never intended to live in its shadow. Its roots trace back to the transitional Reference 5060J of 1996, a watch that borrowed the Nautilus' spirit while introducing a softer, more contemporary design language. The result was a watch aimed at a younger generation of collectors—one that has since become one of the most sought-after models in the entire Patek Philippe catalog.

This particular example, the Reference 5168G-010, represents the Aquanaut at its most compelling. Known affectionately among collectors as the "Khaki Green Jumbo," it pairs the collection's casual sporting character with an unexpectedly rich and sophisticated color palette. Crafted in 18K white gold and measuring 42.2mm across, the case features a satin-brushed bezel, polished flanks, a screw-down crown, and the beautifully balanced proportions that have made the Aquanaut such a modern classic.

The dial is where this reference truly shines. Rendered in a deep khaki-green gradient and embossed with the Aquanaut's signature checkerboard pattern, it combines applied luminous Arabic numerals, luminous baton markers, a matching handset, and a date display at 3 o'clock. Depending on the light, the dial shifts between olive, forest green, and nearly black tones, creating a dynamic appearance that few contemporary sports watches can match.

Visible through the sapphire caseback is Patek Philippe's self-winding Caliber 26-330 S C, offering approximately 45 hours of power reserve, a quick-set date function, and the impeccable finishing expected from one of watchmaking's most revered names.

Most of our products are on hand and will ship directly from our headquarters in New York City. In some cases, watches will be shipped directly from one of our authorized partners.

We generally ship our products via FedEx, fully insured, within 5 business days of purchase. An adult signature is required for receipt of all packages for insurance purposes. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. We are also happy to hand deliver your purchase in Manhattan or you may pick it up at our showroom.

Returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. A restocking fee may apply. Watches must be returned in the same condition as initially shipped.
