Montblanc for HODINKEE Monopusher

You might know Montblanc as a pen-maker, but that’s not the entire story.

World famous for its writing instruments and leather goods, Montblanc began making watches in 1997. In 2006 Richemont — Montblanc’s parents company — purchased the historical Minerva manufacture, which Montblanc then took over in order to profit from its horological expertise. Since then, the maison has been churning out some of the finest modern timepieces available.

The particular Montblanc we have here is part of a limited edition run of chronographs made for HODINKEE. Only 25 examples were produced in this configuration, bearing a lovely dark dial with matching green strap. 

What sets this piece apart is that it's not your typical chronograph. It's a monopusher, meaning all start, stop, and reset functions are controlled by one pusher! To achieve this, Movado has used a beautifully-finished Minerva manually-wound movement.

Montblanc has been crafting luxury watches in Switzerland since 1997, but it was the 2006 acquisition of Villeret-based Minerva that catapulted the firm into horological fame. All of our watches include complementary insured shipping within the 50 states.

Most of our products are on hand and will ship directly from our headquarters in New York City. In some cases, watches will be shipped directly from one of our authorized partners.

We generally ship our products via FedEx, fully insured, within 5 business days of purchase. An adult signature is required for receipt of all packages for insurance purposes. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. We are also happy to hand deliver your purchase in Manhattan or you may pick it up at our showroom.

Returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. A restocking fee may apply. Watches must be returned in the same condition as initially shipped.
