Like every single thing Hermès creates, the Cape Cod encapsulates the maison’s enduring vision — heavy design wielded by a suite of exotic materials.

Inspired by the rich history of North America’s East Coast, the Cape Cod's distinguishable watch case took its unique shape from Hermès’ Chaîne d'Ancre, a link made in likeness to a nautical anchor chain. The easy elegance of its long and curvaceous lugs evokes the spirit of New England's coastline from which this piece gets its name. Quite ironic considering that the maison's Parisian headquarters are located over 3,300 miles away at Rue de Faubourg Saint-Honoré.

This piece, a Reference CD6.710, features a 37mm ‘square-within-a-rectangle’ case with a curved sapphire crystal, signed crown and 'chain' lugs dressed with a signed black alligator leather strap secured by a stainless steel push button deployant buckle.

The gloss blue dial features applied ‘Arabic’ numerals with a mirror polish finish, a matching handset, a tone-matching date indicator at 3 o’clock and center minute track bordering a hobnail finished dial center.

Powered by an automatic movement, the caseback features an engraving of Hermes’ iconic horse and carriage logo. Chic and absolutely fabulous, this piece represents the exceptional craftsmanship and unwavering commitment to quality the brand has become renowned for.

The maison began a furious push to vertically integrate in 2006, purchasing a 25% stake in movement maker Vaucher; this was followed by the purchase in 2012 of a dial manufacturer and a case maker in 2013. The results have been some of the most stunning timepieces of the past decade, including the gorgeous Slim d’Hermès with its unique, cut-out typeface, and the Arceau L’Heure De La Lune moonphase. From entry-level dress watches such as the Galop d’Hermès — designed by American industrial designer Ini Archibong — to GPHG-winning creations such as the Arceau Robe du Soir, the maison has more than proven its horological savoir faire.

All of our watches include complementary insured shipping within the 50 states.

Most of our products are on hand and will ship directly from our headquarters in New York City. In some cases, watches will be shipped directly from one of our authorized partners.

We generally ship our products via FedEx, fully insured, within 5 business days of purchase. An adult signature is required for receipt of all packages for insurance purposes. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. We are also happy to hand deliver your purchase in Manhattan or you may pick it up at our showroom.

Returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. A restocking fee may apply. Watches must be returned in the same condition as initially shipped.
