Why We Love it
–Here at Analog:Shift, we’re known for our love of DOXA.
In any flavor, any color, from the common-yet-wonderful orange-dialed SUB 300T 'Professional' to the black-dialed 'Sharkhunter', the 'ARMY', and anything in between, we’ve counted them in our personal collections and offered them on our site.
For those who love the DOXA aesthetic but are desirous of something thinner, simpler, and less obtrusive, 2019's SUB 200 is just the ticket. Revealed at that year's Baselworld — the final edition of the famous horological trade show — it boasts a 42mm stainless steel case, a unidirectional dive bezel without DOXA's famous no-deco scale, a beads-of-rice bracelet or rubber dive strap, and 200m of water resistance. Best of all is it's price: Just about $1,100 brand-spankin'-new.
This particular SUB 200, a classic 'Professional' model, features a sapphire crystal protecting a beautiful orange dial with applied, luminous indices and a matching, lumed 'baton' handset. A framed date window at 3 o'clock and a printed black minute track complete the picture of a distinctly handsome, monchromatic watch, while a signed, screw-down crown, a screw-down caseback, and an orange FKM rubber dive strap with a stainless steel pin buckle.
Complete with its factory goodies, this easy-wearing, modern diver is primed for everyday use or for action beneath the waves. Strap it on and join the DOXA club!
Brand Story

Brand Story
+Since wearability was crucial, Eschle designed a large case with wide rounded lugs. For the dial, the team tested many colors (orange, yellow, turquoise, and red) in the waters of Neuchatel Lake. An unprecedented amount of tritium was also used on the hands and hour indices.
The team implemented a unidirectional bezel with an innovative insert: the U.S. Navy No Decompression chart, with the outer depth scale in orange and the minute scale in black, to allow divers to gauge how much air was in left in their tanks. Rounding out the Sub 300's innovative design was a beads-of-rice bracelet that was the first to implement an ratcheting expandable clasp capable of fitting over a diver's wetsuit without having to remove links.
