Bueche Girod timepieces epitomized post-war exuberance with their unique aesthetic and dynamic design language. Often clad in textured gold and precious gemstones, these watches were not just objects of opulence, but also a home for exceptional mechanical movements.

Founded in 1947 by master watchmaker Vital Bueche, Bueche Girod quickly rose amongst the ranks of reputable movement manufactures and produced calibres for large houses such as Bulova. Much like their contemporary, Piaget, they created beautiful timepieces with stylized integrated bracelets, exotic stone dials, and much more. 

This example features a 23mm x 23mm white gold case with ‘bark’ texturing; a thin, polished bezel; an acrylic crystal; an unsigned crown; and a fantastic, integrated white gold ‘gingerbread’ bracelet secured by a hook and lock clasp.

The stunning dial features a lapis lzauli stone canvas for a matching dauphine handset and the brand’s hallmark script signature. Powered by a signed, manually-winding Bueche Girod movement, this piece is an absolute knockout.

Since the manufacture ceased production in the 2000s, these exquisitely-crafted pieces have become highly collectable. That said, Bueche Girod remains under-appreciated and undiscovered by the masses.

All of our watches include complementary insured shipping within the 50 states.

Most of our products are on hand and will ship directly from our headquarters in New York City. In some cases, watches will be shipped directly from one of our authorized partners.

We generally ship our products via FedEx, fully insured, within 5 business days of purchase. An adult signature is required for receipt of all packages for insurance purposes. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. We are also happy to hand deliver your purchase in Manhattan or you may pick it up at our showroom.

Returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. A restocking fee may apply. Watches must be returned in the same condition as initially shipped.
