Audemars Piguet Disco Volante 'Tiffany & Co.'

This slim, elegant piece couldn't be any further removed stylistically from the sporty Royal Oak line that the brand is best known for amongst today's collectors. 

Harkening back to the early 2000s but referencing historical models from decades past, it’s representative of an era in which the maison made so few timepieces per year that many were unique models, or part of incredibly limited series. This one, however, is distinctive not only for its round case construction and integrated strap design, but for the multitude of decorative techniques that went into its construction.

Known to collectors as a 'Disco Volante' (Flying Saucer), this piece features 35mm 18k yellow gold stepped case, a satin silver dial with applied hour and printed Roman quadrant indices, a hardened blued steel feuille handset and a ‘Tiffany & Co.’ retailer signature.

Powered by a hand-winding movement, this piece is fitted to an integrated black alligator leather strap with a signed 18k yellow gold Ardillon pin buckle. This is a perfect example of the amazing risks AP was taking in the designs of its mid-20th century dress pieces - and again in the early aughts!

Accompanied by its original inner box and an additional alligator leather strap, this double-signed Disco Volante is a heirloom quality piece that deserves to be appreciated and passed down to generations to come.

Most of our products are on hand and will ship directly from our headquarters in New York City. In some cases, watches will be shipped directly from one of our authorized partners.

We generally ship our products via FedEx, fully insured, within 5 business days of purchase. An adult signature is required for receipt of all packages for insurance purposes. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. We are also happy to hand deliver your purchase in Manhattan or you may pick it up at our showroom.

Returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. A restocking fee may apply. Watches must be returned in the same condition as initially shipped.
