Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing the Accutron Authorized Tuning Fork Service, offered in partnership with Analog:Shift. This program is dedicated to the professional restoration of vintage Accutron tuning fork timepieces using certified expertise and original service techniques.

Please review the terms below before submitting your watch for service.

1. Service Eligibility

This service program is exclusively for Accutron watches powered by tuning fork movements. Supported calibers include:

214
218 / 2181 / 2182
Quartz-controlled tuning fork variants

Note: We do not service Accuquartz or standard quartz models at this time.

2. Service Process

Once your service request form is submitted, you’ll receive a prepaid, insured FedEx shipping label. You are responsible for securely packaging your watch. Accutron and Analog:Shift are not liable for damage caused by improper packaging.

Upon arrival, your watch will undergo:

Intake photography
A technical diagnostic
A detailed email estimate for your approval

No work will begin without written approval.

3. Pricing & Evaluation Fee

Standard Full Service: $700 + cost of any required parts
Evaluation Fee (if service is declined): $165
- Includes diagnostic inspection and return shipping
- This fee is waived if you approve the service

If your watch requires additional components, you will be sent a revised estimate prior to servicing.

4. Turnaround Time

Our average turnaround time is 6–8 weeks from estimate approval. To account for potential delays, we quote an official range of 8–12 weeks. Delays may be caused by:

Parts availability
Shipping slowdowns
Delays in estimate approval
Other unforeseen factors

We'll keep you informed if timelines shift significantly.

5. Warranty

Every completed service includes a 1-Year Mechanical Warranty from the date of completion. This covers:

Workmanship
Replaced internal components

Not Covered:

Water damage (unless water resistance service is performed)
Accidental damage or impact
Wear to external components (case, crown, crystal, bracelet, strap, battery)
Tampering, third-party modifications, or unauthorized repairs

This warranty is non-transferable.

6. Communication & Consent

By submitting your watch, you agree to receive service-related updates via the contact info you provide. These may include:

Receipt confirmation
Estimate and approvals
Status updates
Return tracking
A post-service check-in

You also consent to the use of intake photos for documentation, quality assurance, and communication.

7. Liability

Watches must be shipped using the prepaid label provided. You are responsible for adequate packaging. Once scanned in by FedEx, your shipment is fully insured.

Accutron and Analog:Shift are not liable for:

Watches shipped using alternative labels
Damage caused during shipping due to improper packaging
Watches lost prior to label scan-in

8. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse any submission that falls outside of scope or is deemed unsafe or unserviceable. In such cases, the $165 evaluation fee will still apply and your watch will be returned in its received condition.
