When we see bomber pieces like this ladies diver from Gruen, we are reminded of an era when the most capable watches were purpose-built mechanical works were the biproduct of Switzerland and the United States. With movement manufactures based in Switzerland sourcing movement componentry for Gruen pieces, assembly, finishing, and more was typically done at the US headquarters of the brand.

With decidedly 70s case design and bold colors, coupled with reliable and robust movements, the diving watches of the era were built to accompany their owner adventurer across the globe and to keep time in its dark depths.

In the world of vintage, it's tough to find a more compelling brand on the value side than Gruen. Some of the coolest American watches were pioneered by the brand, and this piece is no exception. Packing a petite 26mm case with a bidirectional rotating bezel, this piece is topped with an acrylic crystal, and finished with a two tone dial display.

Accompanying this piece is its multi-link, very 70s soft mesh bracelet. Plus, this piece has a beautiful even patina throughout. A must for the vintage enthusiast, its hard to find more charm for the money. A complete through-back to a bygone era of American watchmaking.

All of our watches include complementary insured shipping within the 50 states.

Most of our products are on hand and will ship directly from our headquarters in New York City. In some cases, watches will be shipped directly from one of our authorized partners.

We generally ship our products via FedEx, fully insured, within 5 business days of purchase. An adult signature is required for receipt of all packages for insurance purposes. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. We are also happy to hand deliver your purchase in Manhattan or you may pick it up at our showroom.

Returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. A restocking fee may apply. Watches must be returned in the same condition as initially shipped.
