This Baume & Mercier reference, circa 1970s, sits comfortably in that second category. From the outset, it presents itself less as a conventional wristwatch and more as a commentary on material.

Its twin dials are the clear focal points. Cased in a beautifully elegant 18K yellow gold body measuring 25mm x 53mm across, this watch houses two unique stone dials--- one fashioned from lapis and one from coral. The twin displays present a tasteful multi-color aesthetic on the wrist. The case features a beautiful scrolling motif on its curved surfaces. Simple dauphine hands decorate both dials, and the top display features major indexes, while the lower has none at all.

Inside, manually wound calibers keep things rooted in traditional Swiss watchmaking. It offers a reassuring counterpoint to the artistic exterior — simple, reliable, and entirely appropriate for a piece like this. Paired with a leather strap, the watch wears with an understated confidence.

Most of our products are on hand and will ship directly from our headquarters in New York City. In some cases, watches will be shipped directly from one of our authorized partners.

We generally ship our products via FedEx, fully insured, within 5 business days of purchase. An adult signature is required for receipt of all packages for insurance purposes. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. We are also happy to hand deliver your purchase in Manhattan or you may pick it up at our showroom.

Returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. A restocking fee may apply. Watches must be returned in the same condition as initially shipped.
