Details

In menswear, it’s the subtext — not the headline — that does the real talking.

A good tie bar isn’t just about keeping things in place; it’s about signaling curiosity, competence, and a particular awareness of the world beyond the lapel. And this one — from the General Dynamics Electric Boat Division — carries exactly that kind of quiet authority.

Finished in a refined silver tone, it features a streamlined 51mm submarine silhouette mounted cleanly across the bar. Even better, it comes with its original signed plastic snap-top collector box — a small but meaningful detail that ties it directly to the era of American naval engineering swagger. Think shipyard sodium lights at dusk, hulls taking shape under sparks and steel, blueprints smudged with graphite, and the hum of purposeful work.

Aye aye, Captain.

Slip it on, and the outfit sharpens. Not theatrical. Not nostalgic. Just…considered. The sort of detail someone notices only after a conversation, the kind that suggests there’s more beneath the surface. (We'll be here all week!)

Because the most interesting style signals don’t ask for attention — they invite discovery and start conversations.
