Why We Love it

The Nautilus is without question one of the great horological icons of the 1970s, and has in recent years once again become one of the most in-demand timepiece models on the planet.

Collectors and prospectors alike are clamoring to get their hands on Genta's second great luxury sports watch, and with the recent news of the discontinuation of their current collection steel model - the Reference 5711 - this dramatic rise shows no signs of slowing down.

Interestingly, most demand for Nautilus models is centered around Jumbo models in steel, something we can't fully wrap our heads around...

This particular Nautilus, a Reference 7118/1R-010, is quite simply a gorgeous example of an oft-overlooked ladies Nautilus model. Featuring a solid 18K rose gold 35.2mm case and matching integrated bracelet, Patek's Calibre 26-330 SC automatic movement, and a stunning luminous brown dial with applied rose gold indices and a matching handset, this charmer must be seen to be fully appreciated.

To make this even more enticing, this piece features a Tiffany stamped dial. Tiffany Pateks are unparalleled in watchlover lore, and we can't be more excited to offer this one for you.

This exquisite piece also comes complete with its box set, books, and certificate of origin dated January of 2022.

The Nautilus - in any of its variations - is a very special thing. This midsize rose gold variation, however, we find to be one the the very best all around executions, and for virtually any wrist.

Once again, this piece must be seen to be fully appreciated!

They continue to lead the industry, and even their fiercest competitors have nothing but the utmost respect for the company.

From the simple elegance of their Calatrava line to the stunning study in miniaturization that is reference 1518 perpetual calendar to the modern reference 5750P chiming watch, Patek’s catalog is chock full of some of the most elegant and complicated timepieces ever made. Family-owned and completely independent, the firm has the freedom to do what it wants — such as discontinue one of the world’s most beloved steel luxury sport watches, the reference 5711 — when it wants.

Owning a Patek Philippe is for many the ultimate goal of timepiece collecting, and for a certain type, the only timepieces they collect. Whichever way you look at it, there is no questioning the elegance of design, superlative manufacture of their cases and movements, or the sheer elegance and emotion that comes from owning one.
