In the world of haute horlogerie—where time is not merely measured but exalted—Franck Muller remains an often-overlooked luminary. Founded in 1991, the maison set out with a singular vision: to craft timepieces that defy convention, celebrating individuality and elevating watchmaking into pure artistry.

The brand quickly earned renown for its daring and exuberant dials. The Color Dreams collection, for example, bursts with chromatic brilliance, each dial a painterly canvas where bold hues play in harmony. At its best, Franck Muller blends classical refinement with whimsical flair, bringing a refreshing sense of play to modern watchmaking.

The Cintrée Curvex embodies that ethos. Quirky yet sophisticated, its flowing compound curves hug the wrist with ease, reimagining the classic tonneau form as something both eccentric and elegant. Versatile by nature, it can be paired as easily with casual dress as with evening attire.

This particular Cintrée Curvex, Reference 7501, is housed in a 28mm rose gold tonneau case with a guilloche dial. A salmon coloring to the dial, animated by stylized black Breguet numerals and spade hands, hides an automatic movement.

Though too often underestimated, Franck Muller timepieces remain among the finest values in haute horlogerie. Studded with diamonds and alive with personality, this Cintrée Curvex offers an audacious choice for anyone seeking a wristwatch with unapologetic character.

Brand Story

+
Franck Muller, born to an Italian mother and a Swiss father, got his start in watchmaking at a young age, enrolling in watchmaking school at age 15 and graduating from Ecole d'Horlogerie de Genève in the 1980s. After a start repairing high-end pocket watches for private clients and museums, he created his own tourbillon-equipped wristwatch in 1984. In 1991, he established his own eponymous brand.

Known for their distinctive tonneau-shaped cases, Franck Muller watches frequently contain high complications and are produced in limited series, such as the triple-axis tourbillon — a world first that premiered in 2004 after a years-long development period. Alongside these highly complicated pieces are time-only and time-and-date models that take the best in design languages from classic brands like Cartier and marry it to contemporary movements and stunning dials.

Beloved the world over, Franck Muller watches dazzle with their unique aesthetics and sophisticated horology, and have been worn by celebrities as varied as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Paris Hilton. The brand currently has five watchmaking facilities and hundreds of retailers across the globe.
