Bueche Girod Baignoire Allongeé

Bueche Girod timepieces epitomized post-war exuberance with their unique aesthetic and dynamic design language. Often clad in textured gold and precious gemstones, these watches were not just objects of opulence, but also a home for exceptional mechanical movements.

Founded in 1947 by master watchmaker Vital Bueche, Bueche Girod quickly rose amongst the ranks of reputable movement manufactures and produced calibres for large houses such as Bulova. Much like their contemporary, Piaget, they created beautiful timepieces with stylized integrated bracelets, exotic stone dials, and much more. 

This example is one of the coolest out there. A classic Baingoire with incredibly elegant lines, this piece is fashioned from 18K yellow gold. It has a lovely 24mm X 40mm elongated profile that swells at the extremes. The caseback is subtly curved to conform to the wrist, and the Roman numerals are also abstracted to contour to the case profile. 

If you love the Baignoire from Cartier, this has some different details that allow it to simultaneously achieve a similar effect, and also have a distinct personality. For lovers of 20th century design, this watch is an absolute must, and one you won't see on others' wrists.

Most of our products are on hand and will ship directly from our headquarters in New York City. In some cases, watches will be shipped directly from one of our authorized partners.

We generally ship our products via FedEx, fully insured, within 5 business days of purchase. An adult signature is required for receipt of all packages for insurance purposes. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. We are also happy to hand deliver your purchase in Manhattan or you may pick it up at our showroom.

Returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. A restocking fee may apply. Watches must be returned in the same condition as initially shipped.
