The Ralstra® Desk Diver Strap
Ralstra® Desk Diver straps offer a classic 1960s diver/driver strap design for your vintage or modern timepiece. With a period-correct five hole design made famous on iconic sports watches of the era, 16mm taper, and thin padding, these brilliantly over-engineered straps are handmade in Italy from lambskin and come available in six colorways derived from a vintage palette.
Supple and comfortable, these amazing straps will transform your choice of timepiece entirely, as the attention to detail and construction is second to none.
In short, these aren't your average rallye straps - read the whole Ralstra® story below!
Handmade in Italy from Italian Lambskin.
All sizes feature a 16mm taper and a single floating keeper with 3mm padded depth.
All straps come fitted with a brushed, triple drilled pin buckle made from 316L stainless steel.
Please keep in mind that these straps are all handmade from high quality leathers. As such, there will be slight variations in color and texture from strap to strap and may differ slightly from those pictured. They will each develop their own characteristics of patina with age and wear - just like your timepieces!
Analog:Shift is proud to be the exclusive retail partner for Ralstra® Straps worldwide.
We've long admired collectors who turn their passion for finding vintage things into new enterprises to recreate objects and processes seemingly lost to time.
Such is the case with Ralstra® International! Founded after a chance conversation in a New York City bar by two collectors who had been searching high and low for the “right” look and feel for their diving and chronograph watches, their mutual desire to bring a new, vintage inspired quality strap line to market led to a collaboration across continents.
Designed in the US and modeled to replicate original 1960s and '70s rallye strap patterns utilized by any number of famous sports watch manufacturers, all Ralstra® straps are handmade in Italy by the same manufacturing partner we've been working with for years - a multi-generational family owned factory that has been providing OEM straps to your favorite watch brands in Europe for decades.
The attention to historical accuracy is seen not only in the embossed color-matched stitching and Remborde edging, period-correct color options and narrow taper design, but also their hole pattern, single floating keeper and unique drilled buckle.
Only the finest quality components go into a Ralstra® strap. Their soft and supple Italian lambskin immediately wraps to the wrist, and each strap takes on a unique look and feel once worn. There are a variety of colors offered to suit every watch, with lug sizes ranging from 18mm to 22mm.
Ralstra® is the result of a desire for period-correct style straps for both vintage and modern watches, made to the highest standards.
