The result is functional, graphic, and just odd enough to be pure Ikepod.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDesigned by Emmanuel Gueit, the White Horse is particularly sharp in this nearly monochromatic configuration. A matte white dial is punctuated by black baton markers and three subtly recessed registers: a 24-hour display at 3 o’clock, 60-minute chronograph counter at 9, and running seconds at 6. A circular date aperture appears between 4 and 5 o’clock. Then comes the fun part: bright orange hour and minute hands  (and pusher ends!) inject a flash of color into an otherwise almost clinical design.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe brushed 316L stainless-steel case measures 44mm, but as with most Ikepods, that number is somewhat deceptive. The absence of conventional lugs and the way the integrated black silicone strap tucks beneath the case allow it to wear closer to a traditional 41mm watch. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while water resistance is rated to 50 meters.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eInside is a dependable Japanese Miyota quartz chronograph movement. It’s an intentionally pragmatic engine for a watch whose real complication is its design. This example comes with its original recycled Ikepod boxes and paperwork. Crisp, graphic, and wonderfully strange, the White Horse feels like an Ikepod dressed in laboratory whites, with just enough orange to remind you that things are never quite that serious around here.
