Details

Watch collecting is mostly about timepieces themselves, but surrounding these objects is a whole host of other items that are part and parcel of the same world.

From watch display ephemera, to ashtrays, to objects d’art and more, we’ve sourced incredible finds from around the world to help accessorize your space. Some of these objects were never available to the public — indeed, in many cases, you needed to be an authorized dealer to get your hands on any of it.

Look out for a cool piece from your favorite brand or surprise a watch-loving friend with a well loved piece of vintage advertising from the golden age of watchmaking — you can’t go wrong with these fabulous horological finds!

This particular piece is for the Heuer lovers out there: Measuring 3.6” x 3.1” x 3”, it’s a red leather and wood checkerboard box for the automatic Autavia chronograph, dating all the way back to the 1960s. (The automatic Autavias were some of the world’s first such automatic chronographs, and their progeny are still present in the modern TAG Heuer catalog.)

Could/should you keep your vintage Autavia in here? Absolutely. Then again, it’s such a neat piece of design from such an important period of horological history, that no one would blame you for keeping it on your desk even without an accompanying watch.
