Frequently Asked Questions

Every one of our curated pieces comes with a 3-day return policy. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your timepiece, simply ship the watch back to us within three business days and we will refund the full payment price. Returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. Watches returned must be in the same condition as initially shipped.

Please be mindful that the majority of our products are vintage or even antique (some as old as a hundred years or more). As with a vintage automobile, regular maintenance and care is recommended and required to ensure the lasting reliability of the timepiece. Although we do not directly offer repair or maintenance services, we can recommend a number of respected watchmakers to care for your piece after purchase in the United States and worldwide.

All of that legalese aside, we have a cumulative 30 years of experience collecting and building relationships with our clients. Our priority is to provide you with pieces of horological significance and to nurture a passion that we ourselves maintain.

Condition & Accuracy

Each watch will come as described. As most of our pieces are vintage and pre-owned, please expect light wear & patina from usage. If there are any glaring marks, scarring, or damage to the piece, we will disclose this in the item description and photographs. Please read each item description and examine all product images carefully prior to purchase.

The majority of our timepieces run from a manual winding or automatic movement, which are generally not as accurate as modern quartz. We check all of our pieces to ensure they are running accurately and within acceptable time loss/gain limits before putting them up for sale. Again, regular maintenance and care is recommended after purchase to ensure the accuracy and longevity of your timepiece.

Where Do Our Watches Come From?

We have cultivated a vast network of trusted suppliers, dealers and individuals worldwide who provide us with access to amazing wristwatches not generally available for direct retail purchase. While the prices of many important vintage watches continues to skyrocket, we are able to get first dibs and offer them to you for reasonable prices.

Most of our pieces are in hand, and will ship directly from our headquarters in New York City. In some cases, watches will be shipped directly from one of our collaborating dealers - but not before we've had a close look at them ourselves!

Shipping & Handling

All of our watches include complimentary insured shipping within the 50 States.

We will generally ship all of our products via Federal Express within 5 Business Days of purchase. Expedited shipping is available at additional cost, please inquire. We are also happy to hand deliver your purchase in Manhattan.

We welcome international buyers, please contact us for additional details or to discuss shipping and payment options.

What Will I Receive When My Order Arrives?

Each watch will come packaged securely in a Fed Ex mailer with any listed accessories. When appropriate, we will include 2 complimentary CROWN & BUCKLE Premium Nylon Watch Straps with each order. These straps are hand-picked to complement your item.
